LITERATURE
Critical writing plays a large part within my practice as it informs my initial ideas and interpretations of other subjects and other artists works, both visually and mentally. By creating a discourse within my writing, i am able to create apposing theories, ideas and understandings with the use of historical, critical and theoretical viewpoints.
I personally feel that critiquing and analyzing other writers and artists works benefits my own practice, as it encourages the development of my ideas further alongside highlighting the context in which they could be placed.
