INSPIRATIONAL ARTISTS

When undergoing my own practice, i always find artist research a great generator for my own creativity. I find that concentrating soley on my own work, makes me too focused on the end work. So by taking time out to see other relevant artists ideas and works helps me take a step back from my own work and allows me to analyise and critique the point im currently at.

I also find researching different artist inspires some of my own ideas, it allows me to break away from the usual way i would approach a certain material, allowing me to gain insight into how others may interpret a certain subject differently to myself.

Below are some inspirational artists, that i find myself constantly revisiting within my research. Although these artists arent consistantly related to my subject matter, i find the way they approach a subject or topic and their choice of materials a useful attribute to acknowledge.
